The Cascade (or Hillside Man) is George Pichl's signature piece from his work at Shelter Valley. Once you have seen it, you are unlikely to ever forget it, and yet when the course owner first saw George dragging the big blue drum that forms the core of the piece up to the construction site, he wasn't sure what to think. Long since covered, the reservoir serves its purpose well, holding a large volume of swirling water before emerging from the Hill Man's mouth and cascading down the slope to the large pond at the end of the par 5, sixth hole.
