In 2000, George Pichl undertook a project to create
several 'landscape sculptures' for a new golf
course near Grafton, Ontario. Working closely with
the owner and course designer, Pichl imagined and
created five pieces that have both functional as
well as aesthetic appeal.
"The whole point was to integrate the sculptures into the design of the course," says Pichl.
The result is a fanciful display of abstracts that capture the imagination of golfers as they play through the course.
